Tue, 17 July 2007 The first proper show on Libsyn. Hurrah! This week's music... Gadaffi Get Your Gun by Gamble, Gamble and Drever Goat Poison by Paul Simpson The Progress by The Pax Cecilia (don't forget to request their FREE CD album, it's quality) and Snow by Haken. Remember to look the show up on Podcastpickle.com, Popcurrent.com, and Digg. The more this stuff gets used, the more popular the show gets, and the more music we get on here. Everybody wins! Yes, the Music Attack keeps on coming, and we're bringing the PROG this week! Music from.... * Gamble, Gamble & Drever - http://www.myspace.com/ggandd These dudes are an alt-rock/prog power trio from Glasgow. Kinda like Alice in Chains meets Rush meets King Crimson. * Liam Gaughan - http://www.myspace.com/liamgaughan or http://www.aceofbass.tk/ A songwriter/producer from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, some cool bass playing and keyboarding on this one. * Illuminumb and Disfunction - http://www.desecrativephoneticism.com These two bands are related - my good pal Chris McNicholl played in both of them and they're similar, stylistically. You can download the entire Illuminumb album (and the early demo EP that I engineered, very shoddily I might add :-P) from the Desecrative Phoneticism site above. Comments[1] |
Thu, 12 July 2007 The inaugural episode of NeiloMac's Music Attack. Featuring music from
The Mocha Nights, Maserati and track by your host with the most, Neil
McDougall. The Mocha Nights (http://www.myspace.com/themochanights) Maserati (http://www.ihaveadagger.net/) Neil McDougall (http://www.neilmcdougall.com) Submit your music to neil@neilmcdougall.com. No major-label stuff please - I don't have 'get sued by BMG/Zomba/Warner/EMI/Virgin etc' on my To Do list. Comments[0] |
Tue, 10 July 2007 Right, I started this podcast on MyPodcast.com and, while it was a pretty decent free service for general podcasting, the service's propensity for re-encoding podcasts into 96kbps MP3s meant that the sound quality suffered, and with a music podcast, that's not ideal. Therefore, I decided to switch over to Libsyn. So, here we are. You can check out the first two shows over at http://musicattack.mypodcast.com. Show 3 will be along soon, hopefully in the next day or two. Neil Category: general -- posted at: 8:03 AM Comments[0] |
